UKUR Marketplace
UKUR connects people planning construction and interior projects with merchants who supply materials and services. I designed both sides of the marketplace, from the first customer search to the merchant’s order dashboard, and the public website that brings new users in.

Two kinds of users
Customers wanted to compare offers without knowing the trade’s vocabulary; merchants wanted orders to arrive complete, with sizes and quantities they could quote on. The product had to translate between the two.
Customer side
Search starts from the project (a kitchen, a bathroom, a fence) rather than from product names, and a short guided form turns that into a request merchants can price.
Merchant side
Merchants get a simple inbox of requests, quote templates and an order timeline, so even small shops without an admin team can respond quickly.
In a two-sided marketplace the most important screen is often the hand-off between the sides: getting that request right made everything after it easier.Next case study
